Steve Hogan is a business consultant providing marketing and proposal development services to local small businesses. He has over 35 years experience in both military and civilian positions. His expertise resides in the areas of information technology, financial management, project management, engineering, and test and evaluation.
Mr. Hogan’s business experience includes leadership roles with MCR, LLC where he was the Director for their Albuquerque operations and Terradigm, Inc. where he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He worked with AT&T Government Solutions providing information technology and financial management support to the Space Development and Test Directorate at Kirtland AFB. Mr. Hogan worked for GRC International supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization on the joint US – UK Artificial Intelligence Discrimination Architecture program. He started his business career with General Research Corporation supporting several lethality test programs under the Air Armament Center and kinetic and directed energy weapon programs at Phillips Laboratory.
Steve retired as a Colonel in the USAF Reserve after 30 years of military service, both active and reserve, in 2006. His last reserve assignment was Assistant to the Director, J6 at USSTRATCOM. He also held numerous positions with the Defense Contract Management Agency, Defense Logistics Agency and the Air Force Contract Management Division. His active duty assignments included the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, HQ Air Force Logistics Command, and Warner Robins Air Logistics Center.
He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics. He holds a Master of Arts in Computer Resource Management from Webster University. Steve is a graduate of Air War College, Reserve Components National Security Course, Air Command and Staff College, and a Distinguished Graduate of Squadron Officer School.
Steve serves on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial where he chairs the Finance Committee. He is an active member of the local Professional Aerospace Contractor’s Association and a life member of the USAF Academy Association of Graduates.
