At New Mexico Veterans Business Advocates, our mission is to provide our veterans with a place they can turn to when they need assistance in the professional field. Whether it’s promoting their company, searching for employment opportunities, or helping them attain the essential contracts to start their business, NMVBA is an educational and supportive resource for our veteran community.
We Promote Business
Opportunities For Veterans
Veterans put their lives on the line to make our country safer for our family and friends, and we have an obligation to give them the guidance and support necessary for them to continue their lives after serving. With the New Mexico Veterans Business Advocates, veterans seeking employment or attempting to start a small business can receive the vital information, training, and advice they need to be successful after returning home.
New Mexico Veterans Business Advocates is a non-profit organization that was created by veterans, for veterans. We have many members and we all have a collective goal in mind: create more opportunities for our vets. Our members benefit from the experience and guidance of other veterans who were once in their shoes. Every month we hold informative meetings and work in concert with events such as job fairs and expos to give our veterans and service-disabled veterans better chances to lead prosperous lives after their service. If you’re a veteran with a small business, or are interested in participating in the community, we invite you to contact us to learn more or register with us today. Together we can create a society where veterans can easily acquire the help they deserve.
We host a meeting at the New Mexico Veterans Memorial on the third Friday of the month; and Weekly at The Hilton Garden Inn, in Rio Rancho, across from the Intel plant, Rio Rancho. The topics of these meetings vary, but all aim to better assist our veteran community and provide important information. At these meetings, our guests can learn how to work with the state, hear from other veterans who own small businesses, get news about veteran related state legislative proceedings, and much more. It is our goal that through these monthly meetings, we can cultivate a knowledge and confidence that will allow our veteran community to grow.
We encourage you to become a part of these valuable meetings and receive indispensable education and encouragement to start your professional journey on the right start.
